House Manager Job Description – Titus 3 House

Titus3 House is seeking a compassionate and dedicated live-in House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our transitional home for women in a recovery program. This role involves supervising residents, managing house operations, and reporting to the Board of Directors. Similar to an Oxford House model, this program is transitional and aids women in reaching the next step in the restoration of their lives. The House Manager will foster a supportive environment to help residents thrive in their recovery journey.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create a Supportive Environment:

Maintain a compassionate, structured home that fosters recovery and success for women battling addiction.

 

  • Oversee House Operations:

  Ensure house rules are clearly communicated and consistently followed by all residents.

 

  • Resident Supervision:

Conduct daily room checks, administer drug tests, and supervise medication management as needed to support residents’ recovery plans.

 

  • Record-Keeping and Compliance:

 Maintain detailed, confidential records for each resident, ensuring compliance with program requirements. Communicate with law enforcement, parole officers, and other agencies regarding residents’ welfare.

 

 

  • Community Engagement:

Represent Titus 3 House at community functions, fundraising events, and outreach efforts to promote our mission and secure resources.

 

  • Collaboration:

Work with external agencies and community partners to ensure residents have access to resources and are meeting their recovery and reintegration goals.

 

  • House Maintenance:

  Oversee basic upkeep of the home to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for supporting women in recovery from addiction and helping them rebuild their lives.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a recovery, transitional housing, or similar setting.
  • Must pass a drug test upon employment and be subject to periodic drug testing.

 

  • General computer knowledge; Word, Excel 

 

Compensation:

  • Room and Board:

Provided as part of the live-in position.

 

  • Monthly Salary:

Competitive salary to support your role.

 

Work Schedule:

The job offers flexible hours, and your exact schedule will be collaboratively determined with the Board of Directors to ensure a positive work/personal balance in conjunction with the needs of the house.
